Description Of AEROCORT INHALER

Used in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease- COPD( which include shortness of breath, weezing apnea )and asthma. Generally used for the treatment of constricted airways, lung inflammation and other related conditions. It allows the smooth muscles in the bronchial tubes to relax, this helps by shortening or reversing an acute of shortness of breath or difficulty in breathing.

Uses of AEROCORT INHALER

Check the label for directions before use. Shake the inhaler. While you are inspiration in from mouth, press down on the inhaler one time to release the medicine and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Repeat until you have inhaled the number of puffs as suggested by the MD.Afterwards, rinse your mouth rigorously with water and spit it out

How AEROCORT INHALER working

Aerocort Inhaler is a combination of two medicines: Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol and Beclometasone Levosalbutamol/Levalbuterol is a bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Beclometasone is a steroid medicine.

AEROCORT INHALER Dosage

PO- The usual starting dose is 1.25 mg or 0.63 mg, 3 or 4 times everyday.

The emergency room nursing is a massive dose of Salbutamol given by aerosol nebulization in shot of > 7.5 mg / hour and continuative until the side effects of tremor or tachycardia are evident in patients.

Inhalation pills : 200 mcg breathe in every 4 to 6 hours and may increase to 400 mcg inhaled every 4 to 6 hours, if necessary.

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of AEROCORT INHALER

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of heart disease, high blood pressure, or congestive heart failure, a heart rhythm disorder; epilepsy, diabetes, overactive thyroid, kidney problems, adrenal gland tumor, who are taking other medications, any allergy, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

 It may resone dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medicine.

Storage Conditions for AEROCORT INHALER

Store it at controlled space temperature (between 2°C and 25°C). Protect from light and excessive heat.
