Aricep 5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and dementia in Parkinson's disease. It should be used in patients with moderate to severe Alzheimer's disease.

How Aricep 5mg working?
Memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease occurs due to disturbances of signal transmission in the brain. Aricep 5mg Tablet is a cholinesterase inhibitor. It works by increasing the levels of a chemical messenger involved in the transmission of nerve signals. This improves memory and thinking.
How is Aricep 5mg used?
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your health care physician. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aricep 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Contraindication Of Aricep 5mg
Hypersensitivity to Aricep 5mg Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Aricep 5mg Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Hypersensitivity to donepezil hydrochloride or to piperidine derivatives
- Loss of appetite
- Trouble sleeping
- Muscle cramps
- Frequent urination
Precautions And Warnings
Aricep 5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there is limited human course. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be admissible despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Aricep 5mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Finite person data suggest that the tablet could represent a significant risk to the baby.
