What is Carpinol Eye Drop?

Carpinol Eye Drop is a medication used for the treatment of increase in eye pressure and dryness in the mouth caused due to damage of salivary gland damage, radiation therapy or Sjogren’s syndrome. The drug is used as an eye drop in case of glaucoma, and to regulate the constriction and dilation of pupils.

How Carpinol Eye Drop working

Carpinol Eye Drop is a cholinergic agonist. It works by allowing excess aqueous humor to drain from the eye, thereby lowering the increased eye pressure. It also helps reverse the effect of medicines that increase the size of the pupil.

How is Carpinol Eye Drop used?

This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your health care physician. Check the label for directions before use. capture the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the tablet inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Precautions And Warnings

Contact lens - This ophthalmic form of this tablet is not recommended for use if you are clothed soft contact lenses in your eyes. The lens should be removed prior to administration and can be reinserted after 10 to 15 minutes of administration of the dose.

Driving or operating machines - This medicine may cause blurred vision and dizziness in some patients. It is recherche that you do not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this tablet.

Dehydration - This medicine should be used with caution in patients who are known or expected to sweat excessively due to the increased risk of dehydration. Patients are advised to drink an adequate amount of water or liquids to maintain hydration.
