Cellcept 500mg Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Cellcept 500mg Tablet contains Mycophenolate Mofetil as an active ingredient.

Cellcept 500mg Tablet is an immunosuppressant. It reduces the action of body's own defense system (the immune system) and prevents rejection of the transplanted organ.

Contraindication Of Cellcept 500mg
Hypersensitivity to Cellcept 500mg Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Cellcept 500mg Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
- Hypoxanthine-guanine phosphoribosyltransferase
- Lesch-nyhan syndrome

- Nausea and Vomiting

- Pain in the arms, legs and the back
- Uncontrolled shaking of arms or legs
- Persistent diarrhea

- Severe difficulty in breathing
- Chest pain

- Black or tarry stools
- Bloody or coffee colored vomit
- Yellowing of skin and eyes
Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of Cellcept 500mg
Cellcept 500mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Cellcept 500mg Tablet is unsafe to use during lactation. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.
