Coversyl 8 mg pills helps reduce big lifeblood pressure, thus lowering the chances of any future heart attack and stroke. It may also be used to make better the symptoms of chronic (long-standing) heart failure. It helps to preserve kidney function, signet  in patients with diabetes. This pills may be used alone or in combination with other medicines. It is taken by mouth (orally), with or without food, preferably at the same time every day.

What is COVERSYL 8 MG?

Coversyl Tablet is a medicine that is used for the treatment of High blood pressure, Elevated blood pressure, Heart failure, Heart attack in patients with coronary artery disease and other conditions.

HOW TO USE COVERSYL 8 MG  TABLET

Take this pills in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Coversyl 8 mg pills is to be taken empty stomach.

How COVERSYL 8 MG working

Coversyl 8 mg pills is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. It works by reduce strain on the heart and comfortable lifeblood vessel so that lifeblood flows more evenly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.

COVERSYL 8 MG Dosage

Hypertension: Oral- Initial- The recommended dose is 4 mg once daily for 8 weeks. It may be increased if needed. Maintenance: 8mg once daily.

Heart failure: Initial: 8 mg in the morning. Increase slowly if needed. Maintenance: 4 mg/day. Stable ischaemic heart: Initial: 4 mg once daily for 8 week. Maintenance: 8 or 10 mg once daily.

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of COVERSYL 8 MG

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of decrease in blood minerals, kidney or liver disease, bone marrow depression, blood vessel problems in the brain (including stroke), diabetes, dehydration, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, neonates, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

It may cause dizziness or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery and get up slowly from bed while taking this medication.

Limit alcohol consumption.

Store it at controlled room temperature (80� to 85�C) and in an airtight container. Protect from moisture.
