Diane 35 Tablet is used in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). It is used to treat symptoms of PCOS such as excessive hair growth (hirsutism), acne and irregular menstrual cycle (periods).
What is Diane 35?
Diane 35 Tablet is used for Severe acne in women, Prevention of pregnancy, Male hypersexuality, Advanced prostate cancer, Excessive hair growth on the face and body in women, Early puberty and other conditions. Diane 35 Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
How Diane 35 working
Diane 35 Tablet is a combination of two hormonal medicines: Cyproterone and Ethinyl Estradiol which treat PCOS symptoms such as acne, excessive hair growth (hirsutism) and irregular menstrual cycle (periods). Cyproterone works by blocking the overproduction of androgens (male hormones) in the ovaries thereby reducing unwanted hair growth and acne. Ethinyl Estradiol enhances the effect of Cyproterone by reducing the amount of androgens in the blood circulation. Together, they also regularize the menstrual cycle in PCOS.
How is Diane 35 used?
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Diane 35 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Take it preferably after the evening meal or at bed time.

Take Diane 35 Tablet exactly as prescribed by the doctor. It is strongly advised to take this medicine under the supervision of a doctor with frequent monitoring of blood cell count and status of the transplant acceptance by the immune system. Avoid inhalation or contact with the skin. Contact your doctor immediately if you develop signs or symptoms of an infection.

Contraindication Of Diane 35
Hypersensitivity to Diane 35 Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Diane 35 Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:
- Active liver disease
- Avoid postoperative thromboembolism
- Coronary and cerebrovascular diseases or a history of it
- Diabetes mellitus
- Galactose intolerance
- Glucose galactose malabsorption
- History of jaundice during past pregnancy

Diane 35 Tablet is unsafe to use during lactation. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.
Do not use additional hormonal contraceptives when taking Diane 35 Tablet.
