Dorsun T Eye Drop is a combination medicine used for the treatment of increased eye pressure in patients suffering from open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, conditions which may lead to eventual vision loss. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 2 years of age.

What is Dorsun T eye drop?

Dorsun T eye drop is used for Treatment of increased intraocular pressure in ocular hypertension, Treatment of increased intraocular pressure in open-angle glaucoma, High blood pressure, Irregular heartbeats, Chest pain, Post heart attack, Increased pressure within the eyeball, Headache and other conditions. Dorsun T eye drop may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

How Dorsun T eye drop working?

Dorsun T eye drop is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

How is Dorsun T eye drop used?

This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Use this medicine exactly as prescribed. Do not administer in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Contraindication Of Dorsun T eye drop

Hypersensitivity to Dorsun T eye drop is a contraindication. In addition, Dorsun T eye drop should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • 2nd and 3rd degree heart block
  • Bronchial asthma
  • COPD
  • Cardiogenic shock
  • Children
  • Diabetes
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Hypersensitivity to this drug
  • Lactation
  • Liver or kidney dysfunction

Cardiac Failure - This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with a known history of cardiac failure since it may worsen the patient's condition.
