Dorzox T Eye Drop is a combination medicine used for the treatment of increased eye pressure in patients suffering from open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, conditions which may lead to eventual vision loss. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 2 years of age.

What is Dorzox T Eye Drop?

Dorzox T Eye Drop is used for Increased pressure within the eyeball, Treatment of increased intraocular pressure in ocular hypertension, Treatment of increased intraocular pressure in open-angle glaucoma, Irregular heart-beats, High blood pressure, Irregular heartbeats, Pseudoexfoliative glaucoma, Headache, Chest pain, Post heart attack and other conditions. Dorzox T Eye Drop may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

How Dorzox T Eye Drop working?

Dorzox T Eye Drop is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

How is Dorzox T Eye Drop used?

This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Use this medicine exactly as prescribed. Do not administer in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Contraindication Of Dorzox T Eye Drop

Hypersensitivity to Dorzox T Eye Drop is a contraindication. In addition, Dorzox T Eye Drop should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • 2nd and 3rd degree heart block
  • Bronchial asthma

  • Cardiogenic shock
  • Children
  • Diabetes
  • Hypersensitivity
  • Hypersensitivity to this drug
  • Lactation
  • Liver or kidney dysfunction

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of Dorzox T Eye Drop

Dorzox T Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Dorzox T Eye Drop helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduces the risk of vision loss.

Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. This minimizes the risk of side effects.

Dorzox T Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
