Flomist Nasal Spray is a corticosteroid that is used to relieve symptoms associated with asthma and allergic rhinitis in adults and in children above 4 years of age. The topical form of this medicine is used to treat a variety of skin conditions such as eczema and dermatitis. This medicine is not recommended for use as the primary treatment for asthma.

Flomist Nasal Spray is a medicine that is used for the treatment of Inflammatory manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses, Pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses, Stuffy/runny nose, Seasonal and year-round allergic, Itching and sneezing and other conditions.
Flomist Nasal Spray is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.
Use this pills in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Insert the bottle tip into one nostril and cessation the other nostril. Direct the spray away from the cartilage diving the two sides of your nose and toward the sides of your nostril. As you spray, breath gently and keep the head perpendicular. Repeat in the other nostril.
Missed Dose
Inhaler/Nasal spray/Topical forms: Use/apply the missed dose as soon as you think of. If it is nearly time for your next shot , skip the missed dose. Do not twice your dose to make up for the missed one.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical nursing or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.
Most Common: Headache, inflammation of pharynx, nosebleed, nose burning/irritation, nausea/vomiting and cough.
General: Hypersensitivity reactions including skin rash, edema of the face and tongue, itching, hives, asthma, wheezing and difficulty in breathing.
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of tuberculosis, cataract, increased eye pressure, infections, kidney or liver disease, diarrhea, who are taking other medications, any allergy, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It may cause loss of blood electrolytes, infection, due to change from oral steroids to inhaler. If you experience with any of the above symptoms, consult with your doctor immediately.
Patients should stay away from people who are affected by certain infections like chickenpox or measles if they have not been vaccinated.
Store it in controlled room temperature (4 and 30°C), and in an airtight container
