It is not to be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients or to another aminoglycoside antibiotic like gentamicin. If you have hearing, kidney, nerve problems, severe burns and dehydration, let your doctor know. Medicines like penicillin, imipenem, ceftizoxime decrease the effectiveness of FML Eye Drop when taken along with it. On the other hand, medicines like cisplatin, colistin, cyclosporine, and fludarabine increase the side effects of FML Eye Drop.

What is FML Eye Drop?
FML Eye Drop is used for Treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory conditions of the eye and other conditions. FML Eye Drop may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
How FML Eye Drop working?
FML Eye Drop is a steroid. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause redness and swelling in the eye.
How is FML Eye Drop used?
This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Strictly follow the instructions on the label and take FML Eye Drop only as directed. Drink plenty of water to avoid kidney damage. Do not take more than what is prescribed or share this medication with other people. It is advised that you inform the doctor about all the medicines or herbal products that you are using and about all your medical conditions before taking this medicine.

Contraindication Of FML Eye Drop
Hypersensitivity to Fml Eye Drop is a contraindication. In addition, Fml Eye Drop should not be used if you have the following conditions:
- Acute purulent untreated infections
- Acute superficial herpes simplex keratitis
- Fungal diseases
- Hypersensitivity to this drug
- Mycobacterial infection of the eye
- Viral diseases of cornea and conjunctiva
Adverse effects Of FML Eye Drop
- Glaucoma with optic nerve damage
- Visual acuity and field defects
- Cataract formation
- Secondary ocular infection
- Perforation of the globe
Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of FML Eye Drop
FML Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
FML Eye Drop is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby. To reduce the amount of FML Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Your doctor has prescribed FML Eye Drop to treat redness and swelling (inflammation) of the eye.
Do not use FML Eye Drop for more than the prescribed duration as it may cause glaucoma or secondary infection.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
