Gentamicin Eye Drop is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye and the skin around the eyes. It is also used to detain infection after an eye injury or surgery. It belongs to a class of tablet known as aminoglycoside antibiotics.

Gentamicin Eye Drop is used for Treatment of serious bacterial infections caused by pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus species, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella species, Enterobacter species, Serratia species, Citrobacter species and staphylococcus species and other conditions.

Precautions And Warnings

Pregnancy - This tablet is not recommended for pregnant women.

Breast-feeding - Small amounts of this medicine is excreted in the human breast milk. Discuss with the doctor about benefits and risks. Monitoring of undesired effects like diarrhea, candidiasis is necessary.

Hearing loss - Gentamicin Eye Drop is not recommended in the patients with existing kidney injury or hearing problem it may increase the risk of deafness.

Neuromuscular disorders - Gentim 0.3% Eye Drops is not recommended in the patients with existing neuromuscular diseases like Parkinson's disease.
