Irovel H (12.5/150 mg) medicine is a combination medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. Frequent monitoring of blood pressing and electrolytes level is necessary during  nursing with this medicine.

How IROVEL H TABLET working

Irovel H pills  is a combination of two tablets : Irbesartan and hydrochlorothiazide which lower blood pressure effectively. Irbesartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). It works by blocking the hormone angiotensin thereby comfortable blood vessels. This allows the blood to flow more evenly and the heart to pump more craftily.

Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that displace extra water and certain electrolytes from the figure. Over time it also relaxes lifeblood vessels and improves blood flow.

IROVEL H TABLET Dosage

Oral- Hypertension- Adult: 150 mg once daily, increased to 300 mg once everyday if necessary. For patients with intravascular volume depletion: Initially, 75 mg once everyday.

kids: 6-16 yr: 75 mg once daily increased to 150 mg if necessary.

Elderly: >75 yr: Initially 75 mg once daily.

Renal impairment: Haemodialysis: Initially, 75 mg once daily.

Adverse effects Of IROVEL H TABLET

Heart: Chest pain, fast heart beat and edema.

Gastrointestinal: Diarrhea, stomach upset, heartburn, abdominal pain and nausea/vomiting.

Respiratory: Upper respiratory tract infection, influenza, runny nose and sinus abnormality.

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of IROVEL H TABLET

This medication may not work as well in Black patients. Discuss any questions or concerns with your doctor.

Dehydration, excessive sweating, vomiting, or diarrhea may raise the risk of low blood pressure. Contact your healthcare provider immediately.

 Patients who take pills for high blood pressing often feel tired or run down for a few weeks after starting nursing.

Be sure to take your medicine even if you don't feel normal.

Caution needed while using in children, elderly patients.
