Lacoma PF Eye Drops is a prostaglandin analogue. It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.
How is Lacoma PF Eye Drops used?
This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Use this medicine exactly as prescribed. Do not administer in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Contraindication Of Lacoma PF Eye Drops
Hypersensitivity to Lacoma PF Eye Drops is a contraindication. In addition, Lacoma PF Eye Drops should not be used if you have the following conditions:

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of Lacoma PF Eye Drops
Lacoma PF Eye Drops may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lacoma PF Eye Drops should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Lacoma PF Eye Drops helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduces the risk of vision loss.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop.
Lacoma PF Eye Drops may cause brown pigmentation of the iris which may be permanent.
Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
Storage Conditions for Lacoma PF Eye Drops
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children. Store the unopened eye drop in the refrigerator between 2 to 8°C, away from light. The opened eye drop should be stored below 25°C. The bottle should be placed in the carton after use to protect the contents from light. Do not use for longer than 28 days after the seal on the bottle has been broken. Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.
