How Lashisma Eye Solution working?
Lashisma Opthalmic Solution is a prostaglandin analogue. In glaucoma, it works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure. In hypotrichosis of eyelashes, it works by affecting the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle. This promotes the growth of longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes.
How is Lashisma Eye Solution used?
This medicine is for external use only. Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.

Contraindication Of Lashisma Eye Solution
Hypersensitivity to Lashisma Eye Solution is a contraindication. In addition, Lashisma Eye Solution should not be used if you have the following conditions:
- Abnormal liver function tests
- Absent eye lens
- Inflammation of the iris
- Inflammation of the uvea of the eye
- Macular swelling and degeneration of the eye

- Eyelash growth
- Itchy or burning eyes
- Visual disturbance
- Pigmentation of the periocular skin
- Eyelash or iris darkening

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of Lashisma Eye Solution
Lashisma Eye Solution may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lashisma Eye Solution is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
To reduce the amount of Lashisma Opthalmic Solution that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.
Lashisma Opthalmic Solution may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
