What is Melacare Cream?
Melacare Cream is used for Melasma, Acne, Acne vulgaris, Dermatitis of the scalp, Lightens light brown color patches on skin, Age spots, Wrinkles, Dry, Rough patches and tiny bumps on skin, Skin discolorations associated with pregnancy, Skin inflammation and other conditions.
How Melacare Cream working
Melacare Cream is a combination of two medicines: Hydroquinone, Mometasone and Tretinoin which treat melasma (dark spots on skin). Hydroquinone is a skin lightening medicine. It reduces the amount of a skin pigment (melanin) that causes darkening of skin. This effect is reversible. Mometasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A that helps the skin to renew itself more quickly.
How is Melacare Cream used?
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Melacare Cream Indications
Apply Melacare Cream following all instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. It is usually applied to the affected area twice a day, preferably in the mornings and the evenings. Avoid any contact of this medicine with the eyes, lips, nose, broken skin etc.

Contraindication Of Melacare Cream
Hypersensitivity to Melacare Cream is a contraindication. In addition, Melacare Cream should not be used if you have the following conditions:

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of Melacare Cream
Melacare Cream may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Melacare Cream is unsafe to use during lactation. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby, or the mother is suffering from a condition in which breastfeeding is not advisable.
do not wash the treated area after immediately applying Melacare Cream. Also avoid the use of other products on the treated area unless directed by your doctor.
applying an excessive amount may result in pilling. Use a thinner layer or lesser quantity of medicine to avoid pilling.
avoid getting this medication in your eyes or nose or mouth.
wash your hands before and after applying Melacare Cream. Clean and dry the skin area to be treated.
