Minipress XL 2.5 mg Tablet XL is an antihypertensive medicine which is used to treat high blood pressure and Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (prostate enlargement). This medicine should be used with care since it may reason temporary loss of consciousness due to the sudden decrease in blood pressing(syncope).
It is not recommended for use in patients under 12 years of age.

If a dose of Minipress XL 2.5 mg pills XL is missed, take the dose as soon as you remember. If it is nearly the time for the next shot , skip the missed dose and take the next dose.

Most Common : giddiness, headache, drowsiness, lack of energy, weakness, palpitations and nausea.
Gastrointestinal : Vomiting, diarrhea and constipation.
Heart : Edema, low blood pressure, difficulty in breathing and fainting.
Genitourinary : Urinary frequency.

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of chest pain, heart disease, narcolepsy, or kidney problems, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting, do not drive a car or operate machinery and get up slowly from bed while taking this medication.
