Minirin 0.1Mg Tablet is used for the control, treatment, and prevention of conditions such as bedwetting, diabetes insipidus, and von Willebrand's disease. It works by limiting the amount of water eliminated through urination. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in it. Before using Minirin 0.1 Mg Tablet tells your doctor if you are using any prescription drugs or other herbal and dietary pills and supplements, if you have abnormal potassium blood levels, if you have abnormally low blood pressure or if you have any upcoming surgeries.

Minirin 0.1 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of diabetes insipidus and bed-wetting.
DESMOPRESSIN are for oral use only. They are available in two strengths, 0.1mg and 0.2mg. The 0.1mg are white, oval, convex, scored on one side and engraved ‘0.1’ on the other side. The 0.2mg are white, round, convex, scored on one side and engraved ‘0.2’ on the other side.
Minirin Melt 0.1 mg pill is a synthetic form of vasopressin. It works by causing reabsorption of water from the kidneys which control excessive thirst and urination in diabetes insipidus. It also helps decrease night-time urine production and bedwetting in a seed.
Take this tablet in the dose and duration as advised by your health care physician. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Minirin Melt 0.1 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a stable time.
Nasal/Oral forms: Use this medicine exactly as advised by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller numeral than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of this tablet without consulting your health care physician.
Nasal and oral forms: If a dose is missed, take/administer it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take/administer the next dose. Do not two the dose to make up for the missed one
Nasal and oral forms: Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose. Injectable forms: Since this tablet is usually administered in the clinical setting by a qualified healthcare professional, the likelihood of an overdose is very low.
The most commonly reported side effects when taking Minirin tablets 0.1mg include hyponatremia, which may cause headache, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation weight increase, malaise; also edema, fatigue.
Breast-feeding - This tablet is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking/receiving this medicine.
Fluid restriction- This medicine may lead to water intoxication and/or very low blood sodium levels which may be fatal in some patients. Hence, fluid restriction is recommended during treatment with this medicine, especially when the medicine is not used to control increased urination.
You should store your this pills 0.1mg below 25°C in a cool dry place.
