What is Neksium 20 Mg?
Neksium Tablet is used for Gastric ulcers, Peptic ulcer, Stomach ulcers, Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Tumors in the pancreas, Helicobacter pylori infection, Zollinger-ellison syndrome and other conditions. Neksium Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Neksium Tablet contains Esomeprazole as an active ingredient.

Neksium 20 Mg Indications
Take Neksium 20 MG Tablet as instructed by the doctor. This medicine should be taken an hour before food. An adequate amount of water should be consumed with this medicine. Do not take this medicine for longer than the recommended duration.
Neksium 20 Mg Dosage
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose then the missed dose should be skipped.
Contact your doctor immediately if an overdose is suspected. Symptoms may include confusion, drowsiness, blurred vision, dry mouth, and headache

Consult a doctor if you have malignancy, hepatic impairment or community-acquired pneumonia
Drinking alcohol, smoking, taking steroids, seziure medications, as well as family history of osteoporosis increases risk of osteoporosis while taking this medication
May increase risk of lupus
May increase risk of osteoporosis
Monitor for signs and symptoms of bleeding
Notify MD if planning on becoming or are pregnant
Notify MD if stools look black and tarry, throwing up blood, or throw up that looks like coffee grounds
Take caution in paediatric individuals
