Pantodac 40 MG Tablet is a proton pump inhibitor help in the medical care of belly ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other acidity-related disorders. It decreases the acid produced in the stomach and helps in promoting healing of ulcers

Pantodac Tablet is a prescription medicine that is used for the short-term treatment of digestive diseases in which stomach acid and bile flows back and irritates the food pipe, also known as GERD. This medicine works by suppressing the production of acid in the stomach. Pantodac Tablet is also used for the management of inflammation and irritation of the food pipe, to treat the overproduction of stomach acid, and to prevent stomach ulcers caused by the use of certain medicines.
Pantodac 40 Tablet is a PPI. It works by reducing the amount of acid in the belly which helps in relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.
Pantodac is used with or without food. You should swallow Pantodac tablets whole. Do not split, crush or chew the tablets. Panda is help 30 minutes before meals with applesauce.
The typical grownup dose of Pantodac is 40 mg once a day. The typical dose for baby is 20 mg - 40 mg once a day. The maximum dose for a grownup of Pantodac is 240 mg per day. This medicine is commonly used for a period of 8 weeks for erosive esophagitis associated with GERD.
Take this pill with or without food. Do not take in huge or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Ensure that the treatment course is completed.
Missed Dose
The missed dose should be taken as soon as feasible. It is advisable to skip the missed dose if it is already the time for your next scheduled dose.
Overdose
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact your doctor in case of an overdose.
Before you use Pantodac, tell your doctor of your medical history including upper gastrointestinal bleeding, stomach ulcers, weak bone density caused by osteoporosis, a disease in which body attacks its own tissues, low magnesium level, or low vitamin B12 level in the body.
The use of this pill may change the vitamin B12 level in the body. If you are taking any proton pump inhibitor over a period of more than three years, it may lead to the body not potential vitamin B12 properly. The use of this tablet may change magnesium levels in the body.
Store this tablet at room temperature 15° to 30°C (59° to 86°F), and away from humidity. Keep this medicine away from baby and pets.
