What is Siromus 1mg?

Siromus 1mg Tablet is used for Organ rejection in adults, Receiving organ transplant and other conditions. Siromus 1mg Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

How Siromus 1mg working?

Siromus 1mg Tablet is an immunosuppressant. It works by suppressing your body’s immune response following transplant of an organ (eg. liver, kidney, heart). This helps your body to accept the new organ as if it were your own.

How is Siromus 1mg used?

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Siromus 1mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take Siromus 1mg Tablet as advised by your doctor. Do not take in larger amounts than advised or share this medicine with others. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Contraindication Of Siromus 1mg

Hypersensitivity to Siromus 1mg Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Siromus 1mg Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • Concomitant live vaccines
  • Hypersensitivity to it or macrolide antibiotics

  • Unusual bleeding or bruising
  • Cough
  • Cracked or scaly skin
  • Abdominal and stomach pain
  • Constipation or diarrhea
  • Nausea
  • Upper respiratory tract infection

  • Jaundice
  • Tinnitus

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of Siromus 1mg

Siromus 1mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Siromus 1mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Siromus 1mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Siromus 1mg Tablet is recommended.

Siromus 1mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Siromus 1mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Storage Conditions for Siromus 1mg

Store at room temperature.

Store in a dry place. Do not store in a bathroom.

Do not take this medicine (sirolimus tablets) out of the blister pack until you are ready to take it. Take this medicine (sirolimus tablets) right away after opening the blister pack. Do not store the removed drug for future use.
