Supatret C Gel is used in the treatment of acne.

What is Supatret C Gel?

Supatret C Gel is used for Acne, Dry, Rough patches and tiny bumps on skin, Bacterial infections of skin, Wrinkles, Acne vulgaris, Skin and skin structure infections and other conditions. Supatret C Gel contains Clindamycin Topical and Tretinoin Topical as active ingredients.

How Supatret C Gel working

Supatret C Gel is a combination of two medicines: Clindamycin and Tretinoin which treat pimples (acne). Clindamycin is an antibiotic which works by penetrating into the skin and killing acne-causing bacteria. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A which reduces oil production in the skin, replenishes the skin and helps keep your pores open.

How is Supatret C Gel used?

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Supatret C Gel Indications

Apply a thin layer of the gel to the affected area as instructed by the doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. Do not apply in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Do not cover the application area with bandages or other coverings unless specifically instructed by the doctor.

Contraindication Of Supatret C Gel

Hypersensitivity to Supatret C Gel is a contraindication. In addition, Supatret C Gel should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • Red spots on skin
  • Peeling and blistering of skin
  • Patchy appearance of skin
  • Photosensitivity of skin

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of Supatret C Gel

Supatret C Gel may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Do not take by mouth. Consult with your doctor before using this medicine on open wounds, dry, chapped, irritated, or sun-burned skin.

Wash  your hands before and after applying Supatret C Gel. Clean and dry the skin area to be treated.

Do not wash the treated area after immediately applying Supatret C Gel. Also avoid the use of other products on the treated area unless directed by your doctor.

Applying an excessive amount may result in pilling. Use a thinner layer or lesser quantity of medicine to avoid pilling.

Avoid  getting this medication in your eyes or nose or mouth.

Storage Conditions for Supatret C Gel

Store medicines at room temperature, away from heat and direct light. Do not freeze medicines unless required by package insert. Keep medicines away from children and pets.
