Tretizen 10 mg by Cipla  is used to treat severe acne, which has not responded to other treatments including antibiotics. it is usually given after other types of acne medications or antibiotics have been tried without successful treatment of symptoms.

It works by decreasing the amount of oil secreted by oil glands thus helping the skin to renew quickly. Tretizen 10 mg will also assist in reducing the bacteria, inflammation and open clogged pores.

How is Tretizen 10 mg used?

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tretizen 10 mg is to be taken with food.

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of Tretizen 10 mg

 Do not take Tretizen 10 mg, if you are allergic to Tretizen 10 mg, vitamin A or any other ingredients of the capsule.

Do not use if you are planning to become pregnant, already pregnant or breast feeding.

Women must use at least two methods of contraception while using Tretizen 10 mg to avoid becoming pregnant. Even men receiving Tretizen 10 mg must use contraception.

Use sunscreen to protect skin from sunlight and UV rays (like sunlamps or tanning beds) while on Tretizen 10 mg treatment.

Do not use waxing for hair removal or do any dermabrasion or lazer skin treatments while on therapy with Tretizen 10 mg.

Do get your blood lipid levels, liver function, blood cell count and pregnancy test done before starting Tretizen 10 mg.

Do not donate blood till 30 days have passed after last capsule is taken.
