What is Urimax D Tablet?
Urimax D Tablet is used for Urination in men with enlarged prostate, Acute urinary retention, Symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia in men, Enlarged prostate gland and other conditions. Urimax D Tablet contains Dutasteride and Tamsulosin as active ingredients.
How Urimax D Tablet working?
Urimax D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tamsulosin and Dutasteride which relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker. It works by relaxing muscle around the bladder exit and prostate gland so urine is passed more easily. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor which helps in shrinking the prostate by decreasing the level of a hormone that causes the prostate to grow.
How is Urimax D Tablet used?
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Urimax D Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Take Urimax D Tablet as instructed by the doctor. Do not take larger amounts than prescribed. Close monitoring of blood pressure is necessary while receiving this medicine. Performing activities that require mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery is not recommended while receiving this medication.

Contraindication Of Urimax D Tablet

Taking tamsulosin with alcohol may lower your blood pressure. This can cause dizziness or feeling like you might pass out, especially when getting up from a sitting or lying position.
Urimax D Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Urimax D Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Urimax D Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
It may cause difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection (impotence), decreased sex drive, and ejaculation disorders such as decreased amount of semen produced or decreased sperm count.
Urimax D Tablet may cause dizziness or blurring of vision. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
