Description Of ASTHAFEN 1 MG
Ketotifen, the primary constituent of Asthafen 1 Tablet, is available in the oral as well as ophthalmic dosage forms. The oral forms of this medicine are used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis; they may also be used for the prevention of asthma attacks. The ophthalmic forms of this medicine are used for the treatment of allergic conjunctivitis. The oral form of this medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 6 months of age. The ophthalmic form of this medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 3 years of age.

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a history of seizure disorders due to the increased risk of recurrent seizures. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor immediately.
