Ciplox 250 MG Tablet is an antibiotic that is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections such as bronchitis, pneumonia, gonococcal infection, etc. This medicine is not recommended for use in case of a common cold, flu, or other viral infections since it is active against infections caused by bacteria only. This medicine should be used with caution in the elderly population as it increases the risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture.

What is Ciplox 250 Mg?
Ciplox Tablet is a prescription medicine that is used to treat bacterial infections of the skin, soft tissues, bone and joints. Ciplox Tablet is also used to treat various respiratory tract infections including bronchitis and sinus, to treat bacterial infections in other parts of the body including, urinary tract infections, kidneys, stomach, intestines, and ears, to treat sexually transmitted infections, such as, gonorrhoea, to treat typhoid fever and infectious diarrhea, and to treat certain potentially fatal infectious diseases, including, anthrax and plague.
How Ciplox 250 Mg working
Ciplox 250 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.
How is Ciplox 250 Mg used?
Ciplox is used with or without food. Drink plenty of fluids while taking Ciplox. Tell your doctor if you can not swallow the entire tablet. Do not crush, split or chew the tablet. Ciplox is used in the morning and evening.

Take this medicine with or without food, as directed by your doctor. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts than advised/prescribed. Consult the doctor if you experience any undesirable side effects. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.
Ciplox 250 Mg Dosage
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.

Special Precautions And Related Warnings Of Ciplox 250 Mg
Before you use Ciplox Tablet, tell your doctor of your medical history including illness of the muscle connecting to the bone (tendon disorders), reduced brain blood flow, altered brain structure, stroke, weakness of skeletal muscle, weakness and pain from nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy), low potassium level in the blood, slow heart rate (bradycardia), heart attack, allergic to Ciplox, liver problems, seizures, kidney problems, irregular heartbeat, or rheumatoid arthritis.
The use of Ciplox Tablet may change kidney parameters. Use of this medicine may increase the level of blood urea nitrogen (BUN). It may further lead to conditions like crystalluria (cloudy appearance of urine), the appearance of red blood cells in the urine (hematuria) and an increase in the level of creatinine in the blood.
The use of this medicine may change blood parameters. Use of this medicine may increase the level of eosinophils and blood platelets and decrease the level of white blood cells (leukopenia), red blood cells and blood platelets.
The use of Ciplox Tablet may change liver parameters. Use of this medicine may increase the level of bilirubin and liver enzymes.
Storage Conditions for Ciplox 250 Mg
Store Ciplox Tablet at room temperature 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F), away from moisture, and away from light. Store this medicine away from children and pets.
