an inflammatory complication of leprosy. It is also used together with another drug called dexamethasone to treat multiple myeloma.

What is Thalix 200 mg?
Thalomid affects the immune system. It promotes immune responses to help slow tumor promotion.
Thalomid is used together with dexamethasone to treat manifold myeloma. Thalomid is also used to treat and prevent moderate to severe skin lesions caused by leprosy.
This medicine is only available from a certified pharmacy under a special program called Thalomid REMS. You must be registered in the program and agree to use birth control as required. You will be restricted to a 28-day supply of thalidomide each time your prescription is refilled.

- Chlorpromazine (HCl),

Precautions And Warnings
Use an impressive method of contraception for 4 weeks before starting treatment, during treatment, and until 4 weeks after stopping treatment.
Before taking thalidomide inform your doctor if you have had a heart attack, have ever had a blood clotting related disorder, or if you smoke, have high blood pressure or high cholesterol levels, have existing slow heart rate, existing neuropathy i.e. tingling, abnormal co-ordination or pain in your hands or feet, sleepiness, a condition called Tumor Lysis Syndrome, severe infections.
Consult a health care physician if you develop allergic reaction such as rash, itching, swelling, dizziness or trouble breathing during thalidomide therapy.
Avoid donating blood during thalidomide nursing and for 1 week after stopping nursing.
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of seed. - pills must not be used past the expiry date.
